During my first trip to Skomer Island, I went with the goal of capturing unique photos. The puffins on the island have grown very comfortable around people, and I was able to get very close to them by staying on the path, and keeping a safe distance from their burrows. For this particular image, I was keen to incorporate elements of the environment to frame the puffin. So I zoomed out my lens to capture the beautiful individual with a background filled with chamomiles.
