• Story of the image
  Took this image in the very heart of the Hungarian capital, just a few hundred meters from the House of Parliament, in mixed conditions of natural and artificial lighting. I've been tracking a few herons in the past two years getting closer one session at a time. Watching these birds fishing teaches a few lessons about patience and dedication.

  I have no degree or formal tuition in photography, by education and occupation I'm a mechanical engineer. However, recording special moments has been my passion for at least 20 years. Lately my favourite subjects − in no particular order − are birds, cityscapes and the night sky. My primary objective is to find unexpected subjects that in our daily lives we would simply walk past.
