I built a hide by a drying puddle among the reeds to photograph a snipe (and succeeded). Water rails were calling from all around. Through a side window, I saw a young one foraging close by. This happened again on the second and third day. So, I placed a wide-angle camera outside. A very curious water rail soon approached it. Using an electronic shutter, I captured it up close without scaring it.

I am a 18-year-old photographer from the heart of Poland. I began my photography journey in 2019, focusing primarily on capturing the beauty of animals, especially birds. My photography focuses on using light as an artistic feature, although I also really enjoy capturing moments where backstory and experience play a bigger role.
