  We were walking along a broad plain along a rocky mountain massif in Daghestan Nature Reserve. Among the stones in small crevices and holes, we saw several Caucasian agama basking in the sun and Pied Wheatears guarding their nests. One bird soared into the air and sang, wings fluttering. But It was almost instantly attacked from above by another Pied Wheatear and quickly retired.
