  We were driving through paddocks leaving the Sweetwater Conservation Area in the late morning, when I spotted a group of Chatham Island Pigeons foraging on the ground. I crawled up to the group and had incredible views of these large pigeons. They continued to feed in the grass, undisturbed, until I crawled back.
