In the winter of 2023, the UK was blessed with an influx of Bohemian Waxwing. These stunning birds are a great subject to photograph, and with the added bonus of snow forecast I did some research to see where they were being spotted. I was lucky enough to find this flock in a small park, which were feeding on some snow covered bright pink berries. As the large flock descended on the berries, I was able to make this image of a bird coming in to feed while the other watched intently.

I live in the UK, but I am an avid explorer and get out in my campervan along roads less travelled, aiming to photograph the wildlife I encounter amidst some of Nature's most environmentally significant and diverse places. From photographing Puffins on a remote, snowy island hundreds of miles above the arctic circle, to photographing Dalmatian Pelicans in one of Europe's premier wetlands, I aim to capture unique and captivating images that inform and inspire.
