  In the open expanses of the valley, where the shadows plunged sharply into sparkling white glades, the eyes involuntarily closed from the brightness. The sparkling pulsation of the changing seasons… Tiny tap dancers with distinctive bindis on their heads grazed under the thickest bushes in the darkest snow labyrinths. Like tiny tugboats, the red-breasted birds made their way through the softened crust. It seemed that they were bursting through miniature tunnels towards the radiant spring.
